Uroš Banješević Mad Head Games, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer

Uros is one of the pioneers of game development in the region with more than 10 years of experience in the industry. His expertise spans across 2D and 3D art, animation and game design, which brought him to being Chief Creative Officer. As the studio is taking a step further from its former releases, he is leading the transition of Mad Head Games recognizable style into mid/hard core aesthetics.

 

Nikola Čavić - Nordeus

Nikola Cavic is the Head of Business Development at Nordeus, the independent gaming studio best known for Top Eleven, the world's most successful mobile sports game. Nikola joined Nordeus in 2012 and has been playing a key role in Nordeus’s growth and international expansion ever since. He is leading Business Development team, where he is responsible, among other things, for: global expansion, strategic partnerships, IP licensing and advertising monetization. Prior to Nordeus, he spent 5 years with CCP Games where he was responsible for global distribution of EVE Online, and has been involved in a number of international projects with global leaders in the gaming industry.

Jack Kuveke - GameCredits

In 2010 Jack became obsessed with the gaming industry, building gaming servers as a business and through this experience he learned the intricacies and pain points of the industry. In 2015 he learned of blockchain technology/cryptocurrencies and spent months researching and investing, discovering GameCredits in early 2016. Using his experience in the gaming industry Jack realized the disruptive potential of cryptocurrency, and began managing GameCredits cryptocurrency community in October of 2016. Since then he has helped grow the community to tens of thousands members/investors around the world and helped grow the currency from 10 USD to 2.5+ USD.

Uroš Sikimić - 3lateral

Uros Sikimic is leading business development activities and initiatives at 3Lateral, company focused on the development of services and technologies empowering creation of digital characters across digital experiences. Uros has a MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Faculty of Technical Sciences (Serbia) and a PhD degree in Innovation and Technology Management from Technical University of Milan (Italy). Prior to joining 3Lateral Uros worked as a Senior Manager in a startup incubator at Singapore Management University (Singapore). At 3Lateral he was engaged in multiple projects for AAA gaming, VR/AR and AI industries, all increasingly relying on digital humans. He has been responsible for project coordination on Horizon Zero Dawn, Star Wars Battlefront II, Battlefield 1, Batman: Arkham VR, Farpoint VR, Star Citizen, and on special technology display projects like MeetMike (realized in partnership with Epic Games, Cubic Motion, Tencent, Wikihuman research group and Loom.ai).

Ivan Zorkić - Mad Head Games

After getting his master`s in Architecture, Ivan switched his pen from designing buildings to designing games. As one of the original members of Mad Head Games, he worked as the lead artist when the studio only had five members. Almost a decade later, with Mad Head counting more than hundred artisans and craftsmen, Ivan is involved in design, production and management as the studio Art Director and a member of the Leadership Team. He still likes to grab his pen and try to solve most problems with drawing. And he plays a lot of games. A lot. He claims it’s part of his job.

Lazar Mesaroš - EBB SOFTWARE

Lazar is a former composite artist/generalist with several years of experience with film and advertising industries, that in the last years focused on game development. He joined Ebb software team as a vfx artist/ animator couple years ago. Since then he helped develop animation systems, shading, effects and optimization for the following debut title of the team, Scorn, and assumed the role of a generalist/ technical artist on the project.

Igor Vavan - Mad Head Games

Igor has pursued a career in the gaming industry ever since he first came across a Sega Mega Drive console. Warcraft III map editor brought him into the world of coding and formal programming took him further into the world of game development. He is most passionate about competitive games, which goes both for playing and making them. He is currently treading carefully across the endless plains of Unreal Engine where he wages battles with new issues on a daily basis. 

Natalija Sandić - Innovation Fund

Natalija Sandic is Program Manager for International Cooperation and Financing at the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia, where she is responsible for coordination of financing programs and preparation of new grant schemes. She has been working with the Innovation Fund since 2011, from the very beginning of the IF’s operational readiness. Sandic has previously worked as a Program Support Officer in Renewable energy sector at USAID Serbia Competitiveness Project / Booz Allen Hamilton. She holds a Master degree in Economics (Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration, FEFA) and she is the author of the study “Renewable energy sources as a factor of economic development of Serbia” (Faculty of Economics, Finance and Administration, 2013).

Nevena Negojević - Kreativna Evropa

Nevena Negojevic graduated in Archaeology at the Faculty of Philosophy (University of Belgrade) and obtained her Master’s degree at UNESCO Chair for Cultural Policies and Management at University of Arts in Belgrade (Interdisciplinary studies in cooperation with University Lion 2, Lion, France). Nevena gained most of her working experience in civil sector being focused on strategy, policy, capacity building and management in cultural and creative sectors. She has 10 years of experience in project development and managing, fundraising and organizational development with extensive knowledge and direct experience in management and fundraising activities. Currently is working as a coordinator of the Creative Europe Desk Serbia, MEDIA Office within Film Center Serbia providing information regarding European funds and working with audiovisual professionals on building their capacities through education and networking activities.

Nataša Vujnović Sedlar - Eipix

Natasa Vujnovic Sedlar holds two MSc degrees; one in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the other one in Industrial Management, both from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. After gathering a wealth of experience working as a researcher, task leader, and a manager at various international projects, in early 2016 she started working at Eipix Entertainment, a game development company, as a fundraising project manager. Currently, she is the project manager of the “Chronicles of the Overworld”, a project funded by the Creative Europe Media programme and task leader of HoloBalance project supported by H2020.

Nikola Mitić - COFA Games

Nikola Mitic is a founder of COFA Games, a small independent game-development studio, currently working on award-winning multiplayer mobile game Awakening of Heroes. 

Marija Ilić - Two Desperados

Marija Ilic is the co-founder and Executive Game Producer at Two Desperados gaming studio. With her first love being video games it only seemed natural to pursue her career in creating fun, challenging and addictive casual games. With 7 years of experience in the gaming industry and over 10 years in Project Management, Marija is the go-to person in the team for understanding what actions need to be taken in order to develop an idea into a successful final product.
